Time flies and then it doesn't... It's been 15 months since Linda left us... I miss her spunk, laughter, joy, love, generosity... she saw through the facade and confronted the truth and invited everyone in...she was real and she was my beloved sister/mother spirit, supporter, collaborator and dearest friend. I was immensely proud to be a part of her life in Tuscany. Now how we met and found our mutual love for music, dance and life is quite another story... such stark contrast to such an ugly beginning. In September, 2000, my husband Tracy and I purchased the house kitty corner from the Hall's with the intent to remodel it as our beach house and because of Linda we erased the horrific beginning and made it our home. It was Linda, indomitable Linda who revealed our new community and gave us 22 years of shared history.
Tracy met Linda in the process of acquiring our building permits and letting our friends stay there for about a year until we could start construction... for months that's all I heard..."Linda this and Linda that" blah blah blah... until I finally exclaimed "WHO THE F*#k IS LINDA???'
Then, Tracy took me to meet our newest and soon to become beloved friend... Linda
I miss her so.... thankful for so many wonderful memories.... Linda tooling around on her beach bike.... Linda stepping into a hula hoop and giving it a go at Carroll's 60th birthday party...singing with the piano player at the Carmel Mission Inn...sipping her extra dry gin martini in Tuscany and so she goes....
